hey guys this girl i know is selling her gs 97 eclipse atx for 1000 the only problem is it has a spun rod bearing.....my question is would it be worth it to buy the car and swap it out with a same year turbo engine and mtx?......from what i read on here its not worth the time, am i correct thanks

Well it depends on wether or not its a turbo model. If it is, then its worth it becuase for around 3-4k youll have a good car that is worth about 6k. But if its a non turbo then youll basicaly spent the same money except that si what the NT cars are worth. So you could just save yourself the money and buy one thats running. Hopefully what i said makes sense.
