Get at least a fuel pump oh and FYI the 95-99 DSMs came stock with a T25 turbo not a 14B which is a POS, it will do 18 PSI but not to effiecently it is at max around 17-18 and that is pushing it. The turbo wont die from it but youll just be blowing hotter air

is it completely stock? if so i'd say wait on turning up the boost. i'd definatly go with an exhaust and intake first... if you do already have them get a fuel pump and some kind of mbc. if you have some money put aside i'd go ahead and get a 16g turbo, fuel pump, mbc, and fmic.

add some at least 550cc injectors if not a little better and something to tune with if you get a 16G and all that other stuff

for tuning on a 2g dsm i alwasy recomend dsmlink but if you are on a strict money diet i'd say safcII you won't get as much power but still make it quite a bit quicker.

true, when you start pushin high boost and possibly start pulling timing you will begin to knock, NOT GOOD!!! dsm link will retard the timing to get you running safe and strong again. DSMLink is always the better choice but if you are trying to save cash... you can get a safcII i just wouldn't be pushing wazoos of boost.

First read the post about what u should do before u start tuning the car then www.extremepsi.com has a fuel management kit for $579 that will let u turn your boost up to 19 psi with the stock intercooler but still you will need a boost gauge and at least a MBC.
here is the link

this is all good but if he starts running that kind of boost in his car with nothing but an SAFCII he will start detonating and knocking. taking shortcuts in this game will cost you seriously in the end!
