1996 talon
 
i picked up a talon tsi FWD for really cheap but it needs a new turbo. i picked one up but can anyone help me get the turbo off with out lifting the car. would it be easier to just unbolt the manifold and pull the whole turbo and mani out in one peice.

Nope, just disconnect the lines from the turbo, the downpipe, and drop the turbo and O2 housing in one piece.

I removed my turbo without lifting the car. Just start unbolting the manifold, o2 housing, downpipe, intake, oil lines, and anything else that looks attached/in the way... It should come right out!

how can i get the bolt that is right at the bottom center of the manifold. its too tight to get a wrench in there soooo any help

you gotta get a 1/4' drive socket, i think 12mm, and put it on a swivel with an extension and you should be able to get it.

ok thanks i'll give that a try but if anyone has any other ways or ideas i'm willing to try anything hahah it was really pissin me off
