I got a 1999 eclipse GS 10th annivesary edition which i love, but ever since i got it, the cruise hasnt worked, this is really frustrating, especially since i just got a speeding ticket a couple days ago..lol, but when i go to turn the switch on, it doesnt turn on, if i take the black plastic cover off the switch and try to turn it on, i can see the little light that says its on will flash for just a second when i hit the switch..if anyone has any idea what this might be, or any idea how to fix it, some help would be greatly appreciated

 

Mine busted a while back...I took the btton off...and the long piece of plactic was broke of to the side and prevented from making contact with the button inside...check that see if that's what it is...if not..maybe a fuse? I'm still kinda new...but i had a similar prob, and I fixed it myself


When you take the black button off, can you hit the switch in there and does the light come on?

 

Its probally a broken button, just rip one from a yard.

 

When i take the black piece off, i can still hit the switch, and the little light will flash for a split second right when i hit the switch..and i've checked all the fuses in the box, and went through the wiring coming from that panel that i could see, and everythign seems fine..
