Thats the car i bought off Ebay and took it to Mitsubishi and they couldn't even inspect it! It needs new tranny, cracked manifold, in the middle of AWD swap! Nice car but the tranny is keepin it from running and being inspected! Anyone need a project car or parts!? Whole car for $7000!

Go to the junk yard and find your replacement parts.
I see your point, but it's happened, work with the issue to move forward IMO.
As for the AWD swap, finish it with help from this link.... http://www.automotivearticles.com/AWD_Conversion.shtml
There should be enough folks to lend a hand if need be to include myself with the AWD conversion.

Ebay has a fraud protection, you can get your money back since the post stated that the car is fine other than cosmetic problems.

yea if the auction says that the car is fine except for cosmetics but it doesn't run... you should be covered, talk to e-bay! nooooooo way i'd let it stand that i was jipped out of that much money and let the sob get away with it!!!!

the only thing with ebay is your only covered for some much money, and for such a percentage of it.

Ok i found it, ebay only covers up to $200 and paypal only covers up to $1000. So theres no way to get the money back except from the person who sold it, which i dont think thats gonna happen
