If the cam gears say 2.4l on them then it should be a 2.4l head also.. no the 2.0 head will not fit on the 2.4block, the head is too small..

if your valve cover says 2.0and you got no turbo, more than likely you got the best engine ever....the 420A.

yea, there should be something marked on it, im not sure where on yours, i have a 1st gen, but on mine it is.. ok, standing in front of the car, it is (on mine) on the front right like, under the mopunt almost, there is a little ledge that says what engine mine is, im not sure where it is on the 2nd gen though, but i know it is on there somewhere

if you look in your manual, it should tell you. if you dont have one, trust me you'll need it, you can get one for 15 bucks or so from the parts store or cheaper on ebay.

dude, 4g63's are 2.0's as well... is your car a spyder? is it possible that it's the 4g64 but with a 4g63 head on it? isnt that a known swap? but then the head and cam gears wouldnt match... so i dunno
