good call then it is a 420a, no doubt. as far as the camgears i have NOOOOOOOOOO idea, can you get some pictures by any chance?

 

does the car run?? because if you think about it, the 2.4 cam gears should be to big to even fit in with the 2.0 head, unless someone did alot of work to modify them in, maybe someone wasted the money and did that attempting to gain power...

 

well this is the deal on the car now i started it up many times and i finally paid the $420 registration (back tags from 05) i took it out and drove to the gas staion everything was fine. then when i went to take it out to the freeway later that night i got 4 blocks from my house and the car just died next day started pulling parts and found that the starter motor gear was not kicking back in and the stater was burnt and also i was told my coil pack was bad so that were the car sits now in my driveway.

 

so it ran good with 2.4l cams in the 2.0 head... thats odd.. i have no clue bro, but good luck with getting it running again, try to get a pic of the head and cams if ya would

 

i found a place in the front of the motor were it looks like 420a has been scratch in with an engraver or something i'll try to get some picsup so you guys can check it out.

 

yea, that spot where 420a is scratched in with an engraver, that is your engine, you have the 420a...

 

you have a stock420a with cam gears that have 2.4l stamped on them.
