that is because you havent seen them and how they take it. I would feel more comfotible with a 4g64 3G running 15PSI then a 2G 7 bolt.

They take the boost extremely well. just look into the Tearstone.com turbo kits and those motors there are hundreds of them turbod now actually a few of them I ahve seen in person and they would eat my car up. The 4G64 uses 2G rods and decent pistons and along with the displacment it makes some nice powwer. the motor can take it surprisingly well and last quite a long time. I know of a local guy here running at 312WHP stock bottom end and he has been turbod at that point for a year or two now and drives it every day. The downfall of the motor is the head of all things it being single cam doesnt move air flow to well after 15PSI even built up so the new thing being tested is the EVO head swap.

Ya, well you stick with what you got. But havent you heard of the 7 bolt guys swapping in the 4G64 block??.. You should read the write up i did on the motor swaps for the 2G turbos there are some amazing swaps that I found and never knew could be done
