2 questions
Hello all,
First, our passenger rear window has a broken motor. Anyone know how to remove the rear seat and maybe the paneling to save us a few bucks on installation. We were quoted 600+ dollars at our dealer!!!! Secondly, anyone know where I can get a chrome or brushed aluminum gas door? I priced them at our local dealer and.... HOLY COW they are $$$$$$$$$$$!!!!! thanks for any help, Jamie |
RE: 2 questions
E-bay for the gas door. And teh rear seat should easily come out. I'd have to actually look at it personally to figure out exactly how but there are only a few ways they put them in.

RE: 2 questions
i, think you'll have to take off the back seat upper portion , in order to access thru seat brackets.

RE: 2 questions
Yeah but if I'm not mistaken it's bolted under the bottom half of the rear seat so you have to remove THAT first.

RE: 2 questions
I had a '97 Spyder convertible before my '99 GS-T coupe and the little quarter windows in the back went down so it's possible that the rear motor could be smoked...The Spyders have the rear quarter windows in them.

RE: 2 questions
Ah O.K. yeah eh does say he has a spyder... Well then he'll have to take the bottom AND the back of the rear seat off. The bottom first then unbolt the back and that should allow him to remove the side panels.
