I was wondering if there is any downfall of running a 255lph fuel pump if you have a smaller turbo (stock) and relativly low boost (18)? Is there any problem with running a higher volume fule pump ?

So is it ok to run a 255 even with the stock turbo and like 15lbs of boost? I am just wondering becuase I might eventually upgrade to evo III and if it is ok to do the 255 then I would rather not buy it twice.

Once you upgrade your fuel pump, you will need a air fuel pressure regulator to control it. Then once you have done that you will need something to tune your car to suffice for the amount of fuel your adding.

15psi is fine on a stock fuel setup. It's the stock 2G bov that doesn't like anything over 10-11psi, sometimes even 8psi.
A 190lhp is fine, but I would suggest planning on what you want first then get the pump, injectors, turbo, AFPR. Save up and get it all at once or plan it, buy it piece by piece, but don't install any of it until you have everything you need in front of you. It doesn't improve performance when you install things piece by piece.
In the end, you can do it however you like, mine is just a suggestion.
