What are the chances of getting sponsers to give parts or money? Anyone know how to do that?

dont hold your breath.

I had $10k into my Evo and that only made 405HP. Then the new owner added meth and a few other things and made 470HP so $10k plus that is all the Evo got

750Hp and replacing everything will cost upwards of $30k anyway.

Doing NOTHING to an Evo beside motor work it takes about $20-$25k to get in that range. Also dont forget you cant get that HP on pump gas you will need to run c16 all the time to do it safely. Not to mention how unrealistic 750HP is not only as a goal but for a street I4 powered car. My Evo at 400 SUCKED BIG BALLS to drive. So bad that I spent $10k in mods and imediatly sold it after only about 2000-3000 miles and bought the supra.

I dont think anyone who has high goals realizes how much of a pain these cars are to drive with no low end, all the lag and the god awful sound of the exhaust they make with highly modded (trust me videos dont do sound any justice as videos tend to sound good) These cars get really tough to drive. they are rough bumpy, choppy annoying and sometimes you fight them to keep them running ect ect

300-400 in a dsm is a lot of power and will make the car move, not to mention is a very realistic goal and easily reachable.. I would personally start there. A 16g, 20g, 50 trim, any of those turbo's I think would be enough for you. I just dont think you realize how much 750 hp would be in a dsm... And sponsors are a good way to go, but there are a lot of requirements that they require from you.. You have to be extremely dedicated and alot of time to please them.

ya man 400 in the evo and it was pretty damn fast. 750 is unrealistic for 95% of the people out there that have dsm and evos

If he would be happy with 500, I say thats much more realistic.

I think its safe to say that there is no intention of DD'ing lol

500hp is a great goal to start, start there, get it right, then move on.best bet is to build the bottem end to handle what ever you decide later to throw at it.in my opinion, you want 750hp build the bottem end for 1500hp.6-bolt block can handle 600-650hp,but set up for 250-300hp to keep it safe.other thing is SS braided fuel lines, from the tank to the return.its one of those things that helps a 200hp car or a 1000hp car.these are just my thoughts, from the research i have done, take it or leave it,but good luck with your build either way.

Who Flushed?

Well No car to work on make it hard to even try the unrealistic dream of a 750 hp Eclipse.

My wife told me the bad news yesterday the guy that sold the car to someone after he said he would hold ittil last night when my wife was to suppose to pick it up.

A hunt for a new car begins, oh well maybe I will find a supra.

if you do end up finding another gsx, your best bet to look for parts is gonna be buschur racing for the entire long block. And then Shep racing for the tranny and possibly axles. After that everything else is pretty standard. But for that much HP your looking at a GT42r or something along those lines and money would be definetly more than 30k, i dont even know what it would total. I think FOG had well over 50k into his EVO and he was just making over 700hp
