Default 95 talon bumper compared to 98 talon bumper

Just wondering if i switched to a 98 talon bumper, would i have more of an opening for an intercooler? Like would it be close to the opening a 97-99 eclipse bumper has? Ive got some pics but i really cant tell.

the first 2 pics are of a 98 bumper, the 3rd is of a 95

yea i hate how there is such a little opening on the 95. So pretty much im either getting the one off the 98 or the 97-99 eclipse. Im getting aftermarket headlights for the talon which will fit all talon bumpers but only the 95-96 eclipse bumper. So is there really gonna be that big of a difference between the eclipse bumper and the talon bumper?

allright thanks guys. As far as looks, i love the 98 bumper, i just plan on putting in a FMIC this spring so i wanted to make sure there would be enough room. Now the guy im gonna but the 98 bumper from asked if i wanted the bumper or just the skin. It confused me but i think id just want the skin right? Since i already have a 95 bumper on my car

Here's just an idea but...why not do an Eclipse front end conversion?

The only thing I don't like about the 97-98 style fascia is that it's hard to find an FMIC with a long enough core (so that the end tanks are so thick)<---that's one of the main reason most Talon owners do an Eclipse conversion too, the other is because it's so commonplace to do the swap that most do it just because...
That's not even a real issue, that's just the only thing bad I can think of for those year fascias, lol. I think they are more aggressive looking too. I like them.
Anyway, opening question.
The fascia won't have a taller opening, like the Eclipse, but yes it will have a longer opening. Like I said above, it's tough to find a longer core because most make them taller. My core is 29-30" across (2" end tanks each), 3" deep and 7" tall, ETS also make them with a 10" height. Anyway, yes, go with the 97-98 fascia, you'll get plenty of room for a longer fmic, you just have to look for them.
