I had a 98 gs spyder and it clicked for the two years I had it, never had any problems and as far as I know its still running fine (135k on the engine). I wouldn't worry about it too much.

You can always tell if its crankwalk or the lifters/valves.. If the ticking is on the top of the motor its in the head..(lifters/valves). If the ticking is down lower to the right side of the motor, than you have crankwalk.. Hopefully its coming from the top of the motor ;)

ya i think thats what my engines doin right now too it sounds alot like the video i would check your main and rod bearings to see if they need to be replaced

:( sad day man but hey good news. The Engineer has a 6 bolt that he's trying to get rid of!!! that's the engine you want if you are planning on building ur car!
