97` eclipse gs, headlight help!!

i just purchased headlights for my 97` Eclipse GS..

they fit and everything but the wires don't match up.. (see pictures)..

as you can see the headlights have an adpater for high and low beams..

but my car has only one connector .. (1wire).. (hgh and low beams together..)

wondering if there is an easy way to fix this or do i have to buy new headlights?

THANX!!!

RE: 97` eclipse gs, headlight help!!

There MAY only be 1 connector but I garauntee that there are multiple wires that go into that single connector. I'd recommend taking the plastic/black tape covering off from behind the connector on your car (A pic of THAT would be helpful as well) and checking the wires there. I would then suggest if there ARE the 4 wires of similar colors cutting the stock connector off the car (Leave yourself enough wire on the connector end to reconnect if you should decide to go back to the stock lights) the cut the connectors off the headlights you bought and splice the wires together with butt connectors. Also the red and black wires you have on the new lights should be the power to the halo. I recommend hooking THOSE up to a switch inside the car ;). If you don't want to go the cutting and splicing route I'd look into the company you bought those lights from talk to them see if maybe they sent you the wrong lights? And also I find it a bit fishy that it doesn't appear there's a way to change the bulbs if they blow in those headlights...
