Ok i have a 97 gst spyder and im pretty sure i need motor mounts cause the rubber in them is torn. Now when i have it done i want to buy some performance ones, i know energy suspension makes some inserts or something like that. Is there a complete performance motor mount that i can buy? Or do i have to buy stock motor mounts and then buy the inserts? I have bad wheel hop threw 1st and 2nd so will replacing these help that out? Is there anything else i can buy to eliminate wheel hop? thanks guys i wanted to ask the pros so i came here any info would be great.

the wheel hop is just cuz you only have a FWD car any any fast fwd car will do that, the only way to not have that is to get good tires on there. Thats about it, it doesn't have anything to do with the motor mounts.

 

i threw solid motor mounts on my srt and the wheel hop turned into straight tire spin, so ye i would say mounts work

 

Polyurathane engine mounts will eliminate wheel hop and also stop the problem or them breaking

how hard is it to put inserts in??? i got quoted 200 to 350 which is pricy to me is it worth gettin it done or tryin it out myself
