98 Eclipse Engine size question
 

Manual says that there are 3 engines available for Eclipse 96-99
2.0L NON TURBO
2.4L
2.0L TURBO

Q1. does it means that 2.4 could be 5speed and automatic?

Q2. does it means that 2.0(NON Turbo) could be 5 speed and automatic?

Q3. does it means that 2.0 (Turbo) could be 5 speed and automatic?


I am confused

any of them could be a 5 speed... it was standard... unless im seriously confused the auto was an option on any trim.

Yes...they all came in manual & automatic transmission....
the 2.4L was vehicle specific though. It's only in the Spyder.
The 2.0L 4G63 is the potent engine found only in the turbo (GST/GSX models, Spyder GST incl.)
The 2.0L 420A is the engine found in RS & GS models.
