the problem with gs and rs is that the engine is crap. if you want any kind of performance at all than go with a gst or gsx. they have far more potential. and are not that expensive. at least not the gst.

First lesson, DONT EVER BUY SOMEONE ELSES "FIXED UP" CAR.
they can say "oh i've ONLY done this...."
But thats BS.
Don't do it.
Body kit is the dead giveaway he's tinkered too much and maybe made a goof and now wants to ge rid of it so the problem could be dumped on you
Plus, its a 420A.
Maybe the head gaskets leaking and thats why he's getting rid of it.
Hmm....

If you want performance, yes, its not the best motor on the planet for that.
But for every day back and forth driving, the 2.0ltr is a decent motor.
It gets around a fairly decent speed and is relativley fuel efficent
The only real frequent problem is indeed the head gasket, but usually at about 100k.
Even that can be prevented by how the car is driven.
wafballa54, being as the car has over 105k, I think 3,500 is a bit steep.
If he really wants to sell it, tell him $3,000, take it or leave it.
MODIFICATIONS ADD NOTHING TO THE CARS VALUE.
Too many people assume that.
