yea im pretty much just looking for a daily driver that has some style to it, i prolly just plan on putting an intake and cat-back exhaust on it to make it sound good, so it's a positive for a DD?

You're 16yrs old.
You're young and inexperienced behind the wheel.
Yes, its a nice car, but at your age, you don't need a ricey car, you should be aiming more towards reliabilty.
Don't try to make 300hp out of your first car, you'll make a ton of mistakes and possibly get yourself in a financial s***thole.
I would tell you to pass on the car and keep looking.
But if you really want it, don't pay more than 3k.

i say go for it if its in good shape. Your getting a pretty decent car for a DD. I really hate body kits. And im sure there is gonna be alot of people that would make fun of you for it. But if you like it, then go for it. They are not bad cars at all for someone your age. And itsagood way to start learning to work on car and not hurt yourself in the process by not having a very fast car.

i don't see why everybody is saying no... besides the head gaskets in these cars they really didn't have any major problems other than the obvious performance. 3500 seems like a hell of a deal... i boutht my 99 2 years ago for 6k(i know it's steep, i don't wanna hear it, REALLY!) but i have had NO problem w/ the car what so ever other than the head gasket and routine maintnance. runs great and has a lil pep to it. go for it. nobody should hate for a lil bit of style. i have a body kit and have never been called a ricer (to my face) but i tried to keep my extremely clean also.

ah shut up! lol i don't care if i am a ricer or not in ppl's eyes honestly. i came out of my girlfriends apt this morning and walked to my freshly washed car and was just staring at it the whole way b/c i still love the way that it looks and w/o dumping over 2k into the engine/performance... it's just about as fast as a 420a can be.
