Exclamation 98 Eclipse GS 2.0 Non Turbo - Won't Start

I just purchased a 1998 Eclipse GS with 2.0L (No Turbo). I bought the car for my son. I test drove it over 20 miles, started and shut it off several times. Drove it home, where it sat in the garage for a few days awaiting tags and insurance. Now it won't start. Cranks over fine, will not fire. I checked the input harness at the coil and no fire there either (per the Haynes book I bought for the car). I can hear the fuel pump, ohm'd out the fuel pump relay and MFI relay, and they are OK. New battery is holding 12-13 volts and alternator is pushing 14+ volts when it runs. I pulled the aftermarket security system out and replaced it with a standard bulldog remote keyless entry and have had it running since then, but will not start now. When it starts, it runs great!! Any ideas? I'm running out of places to look. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Timing belt OK, checked power to coil and nothing. Checked power to cam position sensor and getting 9volts vs 12 recommended by book. Gonna check crank sensor next. Do you think the 9v versus 12v at the cam sensor is contributing?

You're gonna love this. I pulled the steering wheel off and checked the ignition switch (pain in the *ss), its good. Checked the crankshaft and camshaft sensors, theyre good. Pulled and checked the MFI and Fuel pump relays, theyre good. Pulled and cleaned the master ground, its good. Pulled and cleaned the positive and negative cables from the starter, theyre good. Plugged everything back in and viola it starts.......WTF
