Default advice...

okay.. so my dad was the one who installed my inner cooler for me.. but... he installed the pipes way to low to the ground... so sometimes when im going though the humps or the dips it scratches my pipes... it sucks!!! so im trying to get it fixed.. so im going to this one performance store where he custmzes turbos.. so he told me he will fix my pipes and upgrade my turbo for $400? what do you guys think? i know stupid question.. but just wanted to know what you guys thought? is it to expensive? ( im not an expect in all of this.. im still learning) ...

Well, i would ask what turbo he plans on changing it to. That will be the deciding factor. The piping itself can be redone for next to nothing.

So your saying the pipes stick out a little lower than the bottom of the intercooler?

yeah for sure.. im gonna find out more..... well yeah the piping is under my int cooler.. so its like 2 inch or 1 inch away from the grounds (my pipings i mean)...

$400 for a new turbo is really cheap...Please be careful and find out exactly what turbo it is and get back to us here before you go ahead and buy it...is your Eclipse lowered? I know with mine, I have to take lil' humps, slopes, and some paeking lot entrances at an angle so mine doesn't scrape the front clip underneath.

its a custom turbo 16g. thats what the guy told me.. yeah my car is lowered.. i have to go on angles also.. so i have to fix that soon.. it scrapes so much.. one day i didnt see that they was a dip so it scraped so bad.. it made a little hole in my pipes.. so my dad had to fix it.. cuz it kept turning off on me.. and i was going up hill so it sucks...

hmm... stupid question, but i know the pipes on the side of the intercooler are angled and the should angle up... is it possible those are upside down causing the piping to be way too low?? pics would help alot
