[align=left]k so some of you may remember my post about my messed up turbo, e16g, where it had a nasty crack in it and was leakin alot, well i welded it up and still leakin, what its doin is when i get on it itll like boost up to a max of 7 lbs then fall to 5, all my hoses are good, and the smic and the piping is all okay so i was thinkin wastegate, wat do you all think???
also im able to buy a 14b for 100$ would it be a direct bolt on to the setup i have for the e316g? and how good of a turbo is this

the 14b is a decent turbo. Its from a stock 1g. Its a downgrade from what you have now, but i guess anything is better than a broken turbo .
Yes its a direct bolt on to the 16g

what are your plans w/ the car and what is your budget? w/ a 14b you'll see just about the same performance w/ 15-18lbs as you will with about 10-12 on your e316g. so it's really up to you.

make sure ur not buying a piece of a turbo. check for shaft play, ask how much he boosted on DD, how many miles, if it was tuned etc etc.
