Default Alarm system gone whacko

I have a '95 Eclipse. This morning when I opened the door the alarm went off. It eventually quits blaring, but is still activatedbecause I can't start my car. Wassup? Is there a reset switch or something? Help!

Mine did the same. I have a 5 speed and every time you stall it it would go off. It sounds like you need to close the doors maybe even lock the doors then give it a few min and deactivate it with you remote. If that doesnt work unhook the fuse for the horn for the time being and youllprobley have to get under the dash and find the brain box and unhook it.

The doors were locked. As it turns out, mine has an after factory alarm in it that sits under my dash. There's a toggle switch behind the alarm. Apparently what happened is that I hit that switch with my knee and set it so that the alarm went off whenever the door opened whether you had a key or not. It's all better now.
