Default Any Ideas about COP problem

Ok so this last week I hooked up my new COP set up, there is only one problem, the car runs fine and when I accelerate it doesn't studder but when it is idling it will misfire randomly a little. like it will be purring and then go PLOP and keep going. Any ideas why this could be? I put in BPR7ES gaped @ .028 when I installed it too.

Can you pinpoint which cylinder is dropping out? Try inspecting the coil boots and make sure they arnt damaged or anything. Also are the coils new or used?

the coils are used. I can't pin point it because it is random and not that often.

Those coils are used in 300m's so Idont know if there is a way chrysler tests them. I work at a ford dealer and we test our coils by using a scanner and adapters(vcm) to "stress" the coils which just puts a load on them and the tech inspects the graph.

You could just have a bad coil. Any cel?

Well your not gonna be able to tell if they are bad by looking at them. Go to a junkyard and grab a handfull of 300m coils lol.

I got random pops when i changed plugs to the ngk bpr7es also but after a month or so it didn't pop as much. Later i played around with the gap and it went away. Took out one plug at a time checked the gap played with it till i heard no more pop. Double check the gap mine was a little off like .3 on one of them and .27 on another.
