my 95gs is starting to do alot of backfiring and smells like fuel...

Do you have a boost gauge? Or are you non turbo?

You would notice a lot more than just a backfire if the timing was off

Sry I didnt mean the timing belt, the actual base timing on the car w/ a timing light.
