Well your o2 sensors are now putting out odd readings and thats going to richen you out

i bought the car without the cat n o2 sensors. n it was fine. so ur just saying that over time this is happening

If the O2 are reading weird readings they are making it run rich/lean depeneding on what fuel/air map the ecu decides to use. if it is running lean which it sounds like it is not then it can hurt it if it is running rich like it sounds its not as bad but you may just want to take the O2 out and clean it put it back in.

Edit: sorry i think i missed this did you say you have no O2 sensors? there should be 2 of them one at jpipe and one after where the cat would be. If they are missing your ecu might not be mixing fuel/air right.

i have a 95 eagle talon esi and it back fires alot when accl. to 3500 rps and 5500 rps the timing belt is new and put on correct. ive replaced the cam sen., crank sen. o2 sens. coil pack with a msd. 10.5 wires njk v-pow plugs any body have any ideas i think it the comp. but with the cam sens. unpluged i loss power form 4000 rpms and up but it dont back fire. i just add a cold air and exaust but it didnt do nothing differnt gaind little but still misses and back fires with the cam sens pluged in please help.

ALSO!! is this y may car is only getting like 175miles to the tank?? i rebuilt the head and u think with the new head and old exhaust with no cat. this is y im running so bad?
