Default Bad luck with GSX Eclipse...need new turbo

Hello all...new the mod arena and am ready to get my feet wet. I just bought a 96 gsx eclipse and the engine blew on the way home, thermostat was froze closed and temp guage was out. I have replaced the engine due to the 4th cyclinder having a hole in it and the exhaust manifold as well. I recieved a phone call a lil while ago saying that the turbo is gone as well. I have tried to do the research, but I am not finding the info that I need. The plan for the car is for show. I would love to get into the engine mods at a later time, so what I need is...what is the better turbo to put in place of the T25 for a stock engine? Like I said, I will hit the 1/4 mile at a later time, so keep that in mind for the info. Thanks for the help....

16g. theyre cheaper, have almost no more lag and can take you into 12's when you are ready

Also...will this fit the stock setup or will I have to fab or purchase something to make it fit? I believe the only I have to replace due to overheat issue is the blower, but I would rather be sure of what I'm getting into from the start, rather than a headache at the end. Thanks again for the help...

roadrace has em brand new for $500. you also need the install kit for $150ish but compared to a brand new t25 from the dealer ($1000) its not bad at all.
