Yeah Silver is right. I think that is just the different things that people call it.

As far as having the 34mm flapper, that is an absolute must. The 32mm is so inadequate its not even funny. If you can spare the extra cash I recomend going for an external gate even.

So which one is the best one to buy..... I am debating on the Sleeper 16g or the Evo III 16g.. both are capable of 400 whp right? also is it better to get the turbo cliped?

Actually the E316g flows a little better, and so has a higher max output (380).

Getting the turbo clipped will help you with spool up, as well as porting. If you want to get that done, then go for it.

Also, get the 34mm flapper!

I don't know why but I know that RRE doesn't offer clipping on the Evo III. I don't think that it is benificial or maybe it can't be done. I don't know but as far as your list you still need a wideband fuel gauge, and a Fuel controller AFC. and High Pressure Fuel reg. and bigger injectors 660cc. If you want to run above 15psi

The fuel pump doesn't matter if the injectors can't pass that fuel down the chambers. In the end, you'll overrun your injectors and fuel regulator. I didn't see and aftermarket fuel regulator in there, so add that too or you'll overrun the stock regulator with that aftermarket Wally. Btw, you don't need a 255 if you don't plan to go bigger any time soon. A 190 or an Evo fuel pump will work well for the E316G. Come to think about it. An Evo pump would be your best bet. I believe they were good up to around 240. Don't forget about fuel control. SAFCII or the likes, if you're on a budget, even a MAF+T. I would suggest a SAFC over the MAF+T, but that's just me. Hell, I would suggest DSMLink, but for a starter...SAFC.

One more suggestion...don't install any of it until you get all of it. Don't halfass it now or you'll pay for it later 2 fold.
Actually, you can install the turbo since you stated that your old one is dead, but don't go over 10-15 (depending on your motor's condition and tune). Keep in mind that 10psi from an E316G is a lot more than from a T25 at the same setting.

so if i could get a evo 3 fuel pump could i run stock injectors and fuel regulator and run bout 15psi? im looking for a moderate horsepower gain and maintaining a budget cause i need this thing running again. or would i need fuel regulator, safc and injectors and wideband fuel guage regardless. i guess what im trying to get at whats the cheepest way to go from stock to an evo3 16g. bout ready to tell the mechanic to get all evo 3 oem parts, injectors pump turbo all that crap and it prolly would be a improvement over stock. lol im in deep on this one now lol

I have an evo 3 on my GSX and I run 15psi fine on the stock fuel set up. I would not got even .1 over tho. You should be fine. You can do that stuff later.

Sorry, I meant an EVO VIII or IX not the III.
Here's a FAQ from this site that I did way back when.

That's true Dorian, but I wouldn't recommend it right off the bat. I would still start at 10psi and work up to 15psi. Remember that every motor is different
