big big problem
well here it is maybe two weeks ago i had my car on the dyno and was ready to tune it when the guy saw my timing belt and saw it being eaten up on one side of the belt,i change the belt and water pump right after and the pulleys and tensioners loooked just fine,now the the new belt is begining to do it again.what could it be touching?could it be the timing belt covers? or something else let me know

well i figured out what it was,it was the front strut tower bar,everytime the motor kicked ,it would hit the bar,anyone ecer heard of this hapening(i dont have my timing belt cover on)(upper)

yeah, the two bottom (front and back) break alot and will give you lots a play. i would think about getting poly inserts for those two...even if they arnt broken, they may be worn out.

you can also get an engine damper,
it bolts up by the top of the strut on the cam gear side,
it will keep the engine from rocking as far.
but it does sound like you need some mounts.
i had one broken one and my engine rocked back and forth severely.

My suggestion would be first and foremost, buy a cover! Next, buy new mounts, inserts, or get some used mounts and make your own stiffer mounts from a set of old mounts and liquid nails or the likes.
My other suggestion is to remove the strut bar. It does nothing but allow the two towers to move at the same time, same distance in relation to the other, and in the same direction. Unless the bar is connected to the firewall, it's useless since the towers already do this with minimum variation.
Why do you think EVOs use a three contact strut brace and not a bar.
Take that bling off and use it for something else like a hatch prop or hood prop or even an onboard anti-theft device.
