you can run anything you want. a GTt42r which make like 900HP on some EVOs at like 40 something PSI well you could ru 17 and it woud be faster but its not worth it to do that because your waisting money on the Turbo that your not usng to its potenical

A good choice would be the Evo 16G turbo.. You won't really be able to outgrow that without sticking a good amount of $ into it..

He asked what teh biggest turbo you can use.

The most logical turbo would be the 16G it stays safe and doesnt require ttoo too much. But he could run a 42r if he wanted and stay low on teh boost

That's very true, but Emonz, you know that's a disaster waiting to happen, lol. How many people do you know, who wouldn't be curious enough to "see" where their car's threshold for that turbo might be?
The largest on stock internals, I would say a 20g.
The 16g is definitely a good safe turbo, but if one was to stretch as much out of the turbo and motor respectively, I would go with the 20g and you should be just knocking at detonation's door with the boost set around 17-19psi, possibley 20.
With anything bigger..a little too much positive turning of the boost controller and BAM!! Even a really hot day can effect how a motor is running. I would only suggest a larger turbo on stock internals if the motor is going to be rebuilt soon but not soon enough.
To me, I don't mean to offend, but it sounds like a question that would be in the Newbie section of DSM boards. I wouldn't suggest a huge turbo in that case, lol.
There's more to my answer, but the rest is speculation

Oh I agree with you belive me. But the honest answer is you can run any turbo you want. the fact of the matter is are you smart enought to stay safe. I would ever run a huge turbo like that on stock DSM bottom. I have hard time wanting a 35r with stock internls wtih the EVO even though the EVOs can make like 500 on the stock bottom
