Body Damage

Hey guys,I just spent $1,400 on fixing my car, body, paint, door window, lock, and control arm on rear driver side tire. But for some reason the car is still driving werid. The guys said they can align the car, they said their might be hidin body damage. The rear suspension in the back, i looked at the rear of the car and nothing looks bent, but if you look at the tires looking at them from behind the car, the left tire is cocked inward to the right alittle bit and the passanger side wheel is pushed in. Now they said it could be body damage, frame damage, or replacement of axle. Now, what do you guys think, I really am thinking if i can pull the left side straight, then line it back up even with the passanger side wheel inward, i will be okay. But from a persons point of view, what should i do, they want me to replace every single piece on the back end, but i took it to this one mechanic i trust, and he said it looks like frame damage. Because how to body looks, it doesn't look twisted so it looks like the frame was bent causing the car to pull to the left. Now, he told me that is a killer hit and the only thing i should do is see if they can pull the wheel straight and align it and kill every singe tire i put on the back, or sell the vehicle and buy another eclipse, but i love my eclipse. I put so much work into it, it not worth me giving it up. Thanks guys.

RE: Body Damage

yeah, definately sounds like frame damage to me.

There are frame shops, that have special machines that yank your frame back into alignment. i think the price for fixing that is around 1-2k. It takes them quite a while to put a frame back into alignment. They have to check every piece of your frame and make sure its exactly at the right angle with the other pieces, etc etc...

replace all the mods with the stock ones... trade it for another.. and put all your mods on the new one. Frame work is something you dont want to mess with
