it was a stock stroke, .020+ 4g63...with a monster turbo on it..not certain of the A/R...running an 8" downpipe and 6" tubing to the huge TB...we spoke the to driver, and he was actually pretty cool. i got to go in on setup day because i had sponsor tags, and talk to the drivers and crews prior to the regular spectators showing up, so it wasnt to crowded. on saturday, he ran a 6.96 @ 198ish mph...it was just a RWD..no AWD...fiberglass body, etc. but it WAS a 4g63. all sponsored by ACT...

i thought that the most strange part to be the non-intercooled part...[&:]

 

NOt an eclipse... frankenstein car is more like it... Wonder how much $ is under the hood alone?....

 

he is a professional race car driver...it doesnt matter how much is under the hood...all that matters is how fast...and with his sub 7 second runs, he is now a record holder...here is a picture of his car...i will have a ton more when i get my pics.

Dam I rember that car I saw a thing about it on overboost a while ago. My fav part is how the turbo has its own intake scoop on the hood. You could suck in a Christmas ham with that huge thing.

 

hahaha...the best part, is when you look at thr size of the hole, you think, "that isnt all that big"...and then the hood comes off, and the turbo is bigger than your head...

hell, i could probably almost fit my head in the down pipe!
