Default Boost Question.

With the stock internals what is a safe increase in PSI from stock. And for a 1/4 what would be a safe increase. Thanks for any help.

Anything below 20. I've hit around 18-20. But safe is like 16-17, my friend though has been driving around with it at 16 1/2.

You also have to remember if your gonna up your boost, your most likely gonna have to switch over to a racing clutch...cuz your stock clutch will start slipping real fast when u turn that boost up....

Well the stock clutchs start wearing quicker when WHP reaches around 300hp. There's like no way the T-(too small)-25 can even reach 280whp, so you'll be safe with the stock turbo. Now if you have a 14b...well, 300whp can be made, although the turbo is probably right at or over it's efficiency range. Remember, our stock clutchs are made by Exedy, a pretty good japanese company. As for boost, again, the t-25 is gonna max out at like 21psi or so, a 14b can go to 23-24psi.

safe boost levels depends on the mods you have done to your car.if you are stock and have a stock t-25. you should not turn it up past 15psi. and a boost gauge to make sure you dont go past that. more boost needs more fuel.your stock fuel pump and injectors cannot support that much boost.and anything over like 16psi on a t-25 is just hot air, and wont take long to blow the turbo.
