Default BorgWarner or Big 16G Turbo??

Going to be upgrading soon from my t25 to a larger turbo. I have 2 options: a big 16G or a BorgWarner Turbo system? Has anybody ever heard of these kits? I was told by the mechanics that this turbo has greater potential than the 16G because its slightly bigger without the extra turbo lag. What would be your decision and why?

All I know of Borg Warner is their Trans. suck. Thusly, Id say the turbos may suck. BIG 16g or a 20g would be your best bet. But thats just MO.

Ive never heard of the borgwarner turbo's... What cars do they put them in usually? The big 16g is a proven and well liked turbo for the eclipse.. I would go with that..

Borg Warner has been around forever and make a lot of stock parts for some nice cars such as mercedes benz and the chevy corvettes. How many of you have actually used their transmissions? Or did you just assume they are garbage because you heard it from some guy who heard it from another guy?

I have never heard of Borg Warner to begin with. LOL! I am not saying that they are bad or good. But I know for a fact that the 16g is a GREAT turbo. I ran an evo3big16g ported for a little bit, and its definitely worth the money. But then again, i dont know about the Borg Warner...

Thats what Im sayin.. Ive never heard of them... Thats why I say just got with the evo big 16g turbo, b/c they are proven turbos for DSM's unlike your borgwarner turbo kits.. They were made for whatever cars, so you will have to do modifying and checking to see if they will even fit/work with your car.. And since its not a popular turbo kit for the DSM I dont know how much info you will find on them... Plus when you have problems with them there wont be many people around here to give you advice with it.. Your gonna be pretty much on your own..

id also like more info on this turbo. Maybe a link to where the are? There reason is because i have seen all kinds of turbos for the DSM's and never heard of this either. My guess is maybe that is just a strange name but is something that we know of just not called that.

Evo III Big 16g - good power, proven to last, not so expensive.
