Default braking Boost question

well i race my car,lol,and sometimes guys wanna race me from a 15mph roll(when im still not spooled up)and itll take me a little while to catch and up and beat them,anyone ever use the braking boost method?and and how exactly is it done?and can you mess up anything on the car that way?

are you talkin about steping on the gas and brake while rolling tryin to get the turbo to spool

yeah i can see some brake problems with that....have you tired it yet, does it work?

well i did try it and it does actually work,so it might mess up my brakes,am i correct?

all its gonna do is burn the brake pads up a bit. I used to do it in my talon and it works pretty well.

15 mph and yourrollingin 2nd? wouldnt it be better to start in 1st?

personally i like to downshift, brake boosting works but i dont see that much diff in my car, my bro had an srt 4 and hed pull almost anything from a roll, but he did it till his brakes would glaze over lol overall though id say just downshift
