I'm looking into purchasing a 1995 Eagle Talon AWD and the first thing I want to do is convert the bumpers to the 2Gb eclipse style. I know all you need for the front bumper conversion is the bumper cover, fog lightsand the headlights but is it possible to convert the rear bumper and taillights and if so what all would I need?

 

yea, i have a 96 eclipse, and when i put my body kit on the front and rear bumper were for the 2gb... all i had to do was get new reverse lights and wire them in... now the wires going to the back up lights on your 95 wont be long enough to reach all the way to the more stretched out 2gb's reverse lights, so you'll need to cut them and extend the wire... no big deal, a quick and easy way to convert your bumper... other than that im pretty sure it should just bolt up :-)

 

well which 2gb front are you talking about. The eclipse or talon one. If your doing the talon then you dont need new headlights (which is what i would do). Since im not sure how good the 2gb eclipse front would look on a talon. I like the talon one better

Well I think the 2Gb Eclipse is one of the sexiest cars ever only behind some of the exotics I can't afford.

i duno TheEngineer... i think it may look cool. front end of a 2gb eclipse, rear end of a talon TSI w/ the TSI spoiler. i think i would look good!!!!! similar to the EK front end conversion i wanted (wantED) to do on my Del Sol.

 

Actually I want to do a front and rear end conversion with the turbo wing from the Eclipse and everything

 

if he does the full conversion, im not sure how different it would really look that the 2gb eclipse... then again i bet he just scraps the idea and buys a body kit haha... thats what happened to me and my 96... DON'T DO IT MAN! SAVE YOURSELF!!!

 

I wouldn't do that because I've searched all over the internet and I've never seen a body kit that looksanywhere near as good as the stock 2Gb Eclipse turbo
