Car is hating on me...3 engine error code
 

Alright after a few days of being annoyed with my car missfiring i decided to take it to the dealer. What they found were these 3 codes. P1400 MDP sensor, P0300 Purge sol.1 DTC , P0300 Misfire. The mech said there a leak in the exhaust manifold and possible the gasket needs to be replace. Did check for cracks. Oh and he suggest i clean the air filter. Just got the car and its already a headache. Can u clean the filter with just tap water, or is there some miracle product lol.

OKay, what year, what kind of air filter? Stock, K&N filter charger? YOU DO NOT CLEAN AIR FILTERS WITH WATER!!!!!!!!! If it is after market, you could porb use and K&N filter charger cleaner kit on it...stock GETS REPLACED. you can check codes with AutoZone

Hey thanks for the info, its a 98 gsx and its not the stock filter. If you like ill take a pic of my engine bay and show. There also 2 wires disconnected one is top right side and the other is near the fuel rail. The mechanic told me what the codes where and told me the purge solenoid is disconnected. Where is this connected so i can try and reconnect it.

first of all you're taking pictures of your throttle body and the intake manifold. and the air filter would be on your lower left hand side of the car.
