Ok I have some insurance money to play with so I want an OEM style carbon fiber hood that bolts right up. Anyone know ther best place to get one? i don't know what the different grades mean but all I know is that I dont want a cheap one im looking for top quality stuff with some good hood pins to go along. thanks

just from picking the stock hood up it weighs anywhere from 50-80lbs and the oem cf ones weigh 10-15lbs.

there would be no point in doing that. cf OEM hoods are sexy haha but please don't try putting one of them ricey ones on there or a evo hood on a eclipse. haha

yes you could paint the carbon fiber hood... but i think it'd be a waste. obviously carbon fiber is used for weight loss, but also for sex appeal lol, i think you should keep it natural
