12 means power was removed within the last 50 start cycles, 36 means there was a shorted or open condition detectedin the secondary air injection solenoid circuit for the manuals, and 55 means "end of codes".
The Eclipse N/T has a Chrysler motor in it so it also allows for the keydance and those numbers come from that. The P codes are what you get when you plug in a scanner or logger. The P codes are better IMO, because it pinpoints the issue instead of just pointing out the area of the issue, lol.

So I forgot to check the oil in my 1996 eclipse and it started puttering when i came to a stop and i drove it for a couple of miles until i got home and my check engine light came on....and i was wondering if anybody knows how to find the code on it.....
