the a stock 2g hood is about 18lbs i think the oem 2g cf hood is apx 6lbs. that's 12lbs right there, as for the fenders.. i have no idea.

 

another thing you can do to drop some weight in the front end is relocate your battery. it's a very simple process and only takes about an hour or so. the hardest part is running the wire. and lets also not forget about your wheels and tires. what do you have on there now?

 

the only place that could make it is probably a place that specializes in plexiglass. I dont know where that would be....But go to a car audio store, and ask them where they get their plexiglass from(if they make their own boxes)

 

plexiglass is heavy!! there is a breathable glass but i can't remember the name of it off the top of my head that is lighter than regular glass and is pretty close to the weight of CF.

 

LEXAN! it just came to me lol you can order it here (http://www.polymerplastics.com/transparents_lexan.shtml)BUT do a lil research!! it's used as a very light window replacement and i'm not sure how heat resistant it would be. but i still say cf is the way to go.

 

Carbon fiber looks so much better I have say. Especially if you have a red or white car.

hey hey hey, lets not get on the rice subject... i'm what people would call a ricer also but i don't think so. anyways, nopi is a shot in the dark b/c it moves all the time. ebay is where i got mine, it fit perfect and the clear is still just as perdy as the day i bought it2 years ago this feb. i mean obviously i have taken care of it (waxing at least once a week).
