I have a 1997 spyder, and i want to convert the cloth top into a retractable hard top. as far as i know there aren't any kits for it, but does anyone have any ideas/ opinions about this?

 

ive seen in once in houston texas on a black 1997 gst spyder the guy worked at a custom car shop that dose fab stuff it was a carbon fiber he said his cost with out labor ran him 5 grand so it can be done just not cheep

 

I wanted the same thing when I had my Spyder... Funny, thought I as the only one who wanted it...

 

before i ever got my eclipse GS i wanted a GS-T Spyder hard top... but then i found out how much it would cost... eff that!

 

yah everyone tells me that it will be expensive, but it would be special to me. i just wish i could see how it would look before it gets done

 

well this post is the first time i've ever heard of anybody that has ever done it... so ask Anko and see if he has any pics or knows the guy etc etc. its just very rare and very expensive so... how special is it to you? lol
