clutch

well my centerforce dual friction slips like a bitch when i launch with any boost at all, resurfaced and correctly stepped stock flywheel. this clutch has around 800 miles on it. so im debating a 6 puck w/ 3200 Lb pressure plate. any pros/cons to them? im not a candy ass who is gonna cry about drivablility as this is a weekend toy anyway. i'm also debating a fidanza aluminum flywheel.
anyone ran that setup?

RE: clutch

How much hp you running? it should not be slipping unless you burn it alot (not saying you do) Im going with a street disc and 2600lb clutch from act along with their aluminum flywheel

i dunno how much power, enough to spin all 4 tires in 1st from rolling and half of 2nd gear:D- not just chirp them, they spin.

oh wow, well still, that clutch shouldnt go out that fast. Did you break it in for like 350 miles or so?

RE: clutch

i gave it about 500 miles ofnot beating on it around town when i was running FWD only then put the AWD together & the clutch dont like launching - it works great it just seems to slip before all 4 tires do, when i was just FWD they would spin like hell well into 3rd gear, now the clutch slips in 1st from a launch and slips into 2nd, i have to make sure the pedal is all the way out before i get any boost at all then it wont slip. but if i slip dump the clutch and the turbo starts to spool it will never grab ahold when i dump it.
