i just learned on the gsx this past week. I was doing the same thing as you so i started just letting it out real slow until the car started to move and then i gave it gas. Then i kept working at speeding up this process and im doing pretty good now

Sweet... and just to clarify.... the RPMs should never leave 3000 when your foot is on the clutch. If your foot is on the clutch and you are giving it gas you are burning up the clutch

wow, so how many of you are 15?

You really should learn the proper way:

use no gas, slip the clutch up slowly, and launch like that till you get it right.

You want to bring the clutch up as you let teh gas down.

fastest way to get used to the car's clutch engagement is to start at a flat spot, dont even touch the gas pedal, and just let off the clutch slow enough so that it grabs on its own, once you get used to where it grabs, then u can use the gas an finess it to start off quicker

exactly...thats what i had told paintball when he was trying. As long as you let it off really slow this will work. If it doesnt then maybe you have a bad clutch and that might be why your having a hard time learning
