Default converting transmissions

i have a 98 GS automatic transmission i bought the automatic cause i thought it would be nicer when i'm stuck in this freaking san diego traffic. well anyway i hate the decision i made but i absolutely love my car i just wish it was a manual. so my question is....... is it possible to convert to a manual transmission and if so how much would it cost and what would i need?

unless you got too much money to waste just by a cheap car for driving in traffic

transnmission changes are a pain in the but and expensive if you dont do it

Default converting transmissions

I feel your pain. I ended up with an auto because there wasn't a straight on the lot and the insentives they were offering(that helped me get out of a lease) ended that day. I've thought about converting also, but I've been told the entire wire harness has to be swapped as well. I work at an auto manufacturing plant and from what I've seen that would be almost as much work as the tranny itself.
