Code P0125 Help

Ok so I had the check engine light turn on and I got it scanned and reset, it came on again it was P0125 - Inadequate collant temp for closed fuel circuit.(In other words the car is taking too long to reach operationg temp) I looked on obd-codes.com and it said that it is eaither a stuck thermostat or a bad coolant temp sensor. The gauge reads that the car is warmed up and the heater is definently hot so do you think that it is the sensor or the thermostat?

Isn't there a spec for ohming the sensor? You might as well replace the sensor, replace the thermostat and flush the coolant. How old is the coolant in the car?

the sensor only costs $22 so I am going to start with that. The coolant is about a year old.
