What would one need to do to make a 1995 eagle talon tsi comparable to an evo 8? in the sense of power, 0-60mph, 1/4 mile, cornering etc?
so far i have
-upper and lower greddy IC pipes
-greddy rs BOV
-Big T-28 turbo (installing on monday)
-evo III o2 housing (installing on monday)
-tubular stanless manifold (installing on monday)
-3" turbo back exhaust
-tein SS coilovers with pillow ball mounts
-strut tower braces

 

a good tune and you will be way faster than an EVO

 

oh nice, wait, a good tune on stock fuel system? reallly? how would i compare handling wise?

 

no i mean with injectors.

The handling wont ever be as good becasue of all the technology in hte EVO

 

not sure he would be faster than an EVO with any mods but a stock one maybe in the years 03 and 04

 

i think he will because he will be pushing well over 300 and a good launch would kill an evo.

 

Ya do you know an EVO with light mods will push over 300?? and an EVO can out launch a DSM with its 50-50 spilt compaired to 70-30 or what ever the DSMs are.

He will keep up with a stock 05-06 I think but moded I dont think so

 

Well an evo 8 you should be able to beat. even with some light mods on it you should have it. But only a stock evo 9. And for cornering and handling, you wont be close to the evo's

 

an 03-04 EVO VIII but an 05 VIII NO!!!

How many more times do I need to say thins Ahhhhhhhhh. the 03-04 VIIIs are slower the 05s are not far off from the IX

 

not on stock fuel, get bigger injectors, and run 18-19psi to hang with an evo

and he is NOT 'pushing' 300, id say mroe like 260whp IF he cranks up the boost
