convertible top
I was just wondering if someone could tell me if its possible, well easy installing, a new convertible top..I went to the upholstry shop and they were telling me a ballpark figure of 1000 dollars which is incredibly high, since i seen the factory top on ebay for about 330 shipped..what happened was someone cut two huge holes in my roof which my car is under a tarp right now..
does anyone know a website with instructions for a 99 mitsubishi eclipse spyder convertible...or has anyone ever installed a convertible top if i need any help?
it says it does come with instructions..and the upholstry shop said they could patch anything as long as there isnt any fabric missing..which will be a quick fix for now..
oh yeah..dont ever buy a convertible.
plan is to sell the convertible after winter..who wants a convertible now?
looking to buy a lancer oz
seen a nice one for 4500
2002 oz rally..intake..evo 8 rims on it...magnaflow exhaust..
anyways im rambling..
and the quality of replacement tops..
theres two that i seen and im going with the factory one..
says you need a staple gun and use contact cement..
i seen how the convertible top connects to the visible portion..
how do i get to see how the back near the window connects..
do i have to take the back seat out?
if anyone can help me out.
i'd deff really appreciate it!
thanks!
