CONVERTIBLE TOP PROBLEM PLEASE HELP!!
 

Okay, I got 98 Eclipse Spyder. A month ago, my car was broken into, and the theves took all the stuff. Stereo, spekers.... anyway, I put the stereo and speker myself. Everything was fine. Today, I tried to put a new antenna cause my old one was broken. I put my new antenna, everything worked fine except my convertible top. It worked 5 minutes ago, but when I tried to close my convertible top, only the windows go down, but the convertible top won't move. I think I messed up some wires when I put my new antenna in. Can anybody help me with this? I did everything myself so I can save money, but now it might cost me more to fix it. PLEASE can anyone help me?

There is a switch in the trunck under the carpeting near the tail light on the left side it is prob switched over to manual you want it on auto it controlls the top for a manual up\down or auto or at least my 02 SPyder was on the left. it will be back there just look for it where ever you were working

yea as soon as i left a message here, i went back down to the garage and found it out. it works fine. i feel so dumb.

dont feel bad I did the same thing when putting on taillights I though I burnt the motor to the top but I found it a few minutes later LOL.

Atleast it wasnt that you forgot to unlock the top by the windshield ;)
