Cooling and types of Radiators

Hi can someone please tell me the difference between an alluminum racing radiator and a regular radiator....I just don't know enough about the cooling system yet to make a good decision about what radiator to put in my car. So any imput would be helpful...I have a 1995 Eclipse GSX 2.0 Turbo Thank you for your help

RE: Cooling and types of Radiators

The difference is going to be the metals the radiators are made from. Racing radiator is made to be light and have better heat disipation whereas a stock radiator is going to be heavier and sturdier. The racing radiator may also be slightly larger.
