Could you recommend me a Boost gauge

So could you guys recommend me a Boost gauge that wont cost me too much, but will still work well for all practical purposes.

well cheap then your looking for a mechanical boost guage. Any type really should work (autometer, greddy, apex, ect.) they would all do fine. I had autometer on my car which is kinda the type that everyone seems to get cuz they are cheaper.

Well thats a difficult one really. The analog ones are pretty much all the same and the same quality because they run on the same principles.

How to chose the right one for you is the unit of measurment that it uses. IE:- Bar or PSI. Personally i deal with PSI and i think everyone else on here does too. I would recomend something that goes upto or above 20psi. If you have the extra cash you might like the digital ones... they are niiiice :)

Its all about how you want them to look really... they will all do the same job.

AEM are good and reliable!

So how much (roughly) would an autometer run me

maybe $50-75 then for a bezel like 93eclipsegsx i think those are like $5-10. All together most guages will be pretty cheap if they are mechanical.

i have a friend in a WRX that's pushing 22lbs and got his from autozone for like 20 bucks... may not be pretty... and you may get ragged on but it gets the job done, he's had his for about a year now and it works fine for him

RE: Could you recommend me a Boost gauge

You know ... my friend has that SAME gauge in that same damn position with that same clamp... thats odd...

RE: Could you recommend me a Boost gauge

yea hes taking almost everything. But hes still giving him an awesome deal on the car. But all hes gonna leave it the catback probaly. Might be the downpipe to. the intercooler piping and the intake and the MBC. Everything else is coming off.
