Default Cruise Problem

Automatic or manual tranny? I know the manual tranny has a switch or something attached to the clutch pedal, check and see if it's operating ok. If it's an automatic, maybe the TCU is bad? I dunno....that's a hard thing to use anyways. I have to keep pushing the "on" button because the light is so dim and i can't tell if it's activated. Then when i use the lever, it like never wants to set. Eventually i get it to set....but i'm already at where i was heading to, so it's pointless. Just my experiences though.
